10 Wedding Day Gifts For Him

Updated: May 21, 2018

It is tradition for the bride and groom to exchange gifts either after the rehearsal dinner, on the day of your wedding (before vows) or after the ceremony. These gifts don’t necessarily need to be expensive. They can range from a hand written love letter to a once in a lifetime gift. Whatever you decide to get, make sure it reflects your love, humor, and/or relationship. Here are just a few ideas to get you started.

  1. An engraved flask- Engrave his name on the side of a gunmetal, or leather flask and fill it with his liquor of choice. You could also personalize a Pilsner glass or a nice beer mug.

2. Cigars- Personalize a wooden humidifier and fill it with a box of premium cigars. Make sure there are enough for him to share that day with his boys if he chooses to share.

3. Cufflinks- A super unique idea is to engrave with the coordinates of your wedding ceremony onto the cufflinks! (You can also do this with a tie clip or a money clip.) Another idea is to engraved his cufflinks both of your initials or dates.

4. Season Tickets- Weather you like sports or not…does he? If so season tickets for his favorite sports team is sure to be a winner! (Get the pun?!)

5. Bridal Boudoir Photo Session- If you’re comfortable with the idea, a boudoir session is a special gift that your future husband would love! What man wouldn’t want a beautiful album for his eyes only, with his future wife from a bridal boudoir photo shoot? Many photographers might even offer a boudoir session in place of a bridal or engagement session with their package if asked.

6. An Expensive Watch- Engrave your wedding date, a short love quote on the back or a note like, “See you at 4 o’clock” which would be the start time of your wedding either on the back of the watch or on the wristband.

7. Pocket Watch- Though pocket watches take a back seat to the wrist watch, pocket watches remain a great gift option for grooms on their wedding day. This will be a special gift that will stay with him for a life time and a constant reminder best day of his life.

8. Hand written letters- Writing a special hand written love letter as to why you’re marrying your love of your life and best friend is the most beautiful and sentimental gift of all. (Don’t forget to spray the letter with your perfume!)

9. Wedding Band Engraving- Engraving your future husbands wedding band is such a meaningful idea. Add both of your initials & the wedding date…the will never have a reason for forgetting an anniversary!

10. Colorful socks- Colorful socks are a great gift for the groom and his groomsmen for the day of the wedding! They can be monogrammed, the same color or a variety of colors & styles. They add some flavor for the guys and make a perfect photo opp!

Again, these are just a few ideas for you. Get creative & think outside of the box! Whatever you choose he will be sure to love!
